We understand the constant frustration involved with setting up and dismantling goals which is a necessary and regular task at grassroots level. That’s why here at NexGen we provide all of the components designed to make this job as easy as it should be so that you can focus on what really matters: playing football.
We offer you an extensive range of rubber mallets, fasclips, net carry bags and net pegs; to make this process a whole lot easier. Instead of using masking tape or metal fixtures, we offer you a range of durable yet sustainable fixtures that can be applied in just minutes without having the risk of damaging goal posts. To provide added durability, protection and convenience we also provide carry bags to help organise equipment making set up and close off-season period a whole lot easier. We also have a range of football goals.
Available in this range of accessories are both metal and plastic pegs which come in a set of 10 that support and hold the net in place for the duration of the game, providing reliability. Many people make the mistake of trying to insert these pegs into the ground with their foot which is an improper way of setting the nets up and can cause the pegs to snap or bend. In addition, if you usually attach nets to the posts using masking tape or metal fixtures, this can cause damage to the nets during use
and while dismantling Instead, we offer rubber mallets which prevent such problems, providing a more secure goal in a much quicker set-up time, too.
As well as this, net clips and net ties are available which help in the securing of the goal, providing extra reliability at affordable prices. Our goal carry bag and samba goal carry bag provides easy storage and carrying of all net-related equipment to ensure that everything you need is stored in one place and can be done so in a comfortable and reliable fashion.
The use of fasclips and net ties are the quickest and simplest ways of setting up and taking down goal nets. Within minutes fasclips can be attached to the netting itself, or net ties can be used to attach the netting to the goal posts using a Velcro strap. Both methods offer stability and longevity with a reduced risk of damage to netting during dismantling, unlike other methods where can tear the nets. Also much safer than metal hooks which can cause all sorts of problems especially if they start to corrode or break. Ouch!
Net pegs stabilise the nets in a different way, holding the nets down into the ground stopping any ball from ‘slipping through the net’ so to speak. We have two types of pegs; metal and plastic. Which is better you ask? In reality, both do as good a job but are suited to different types of ground. Metal pegs are more efficient in a frozen or dry ground, and plastic pegs are just as effective in ‘normal’ softer pitches and are seen to be the safer option by some.
Ventilated Net Carry Bags: When the season is over and it’s time to take down your nets. It’s been a long, wet season and you just want to get home. You throw the nets into two black bin liners and store them in the garage for the summer break. However, in August you open the bags and find them in no fit state to use. NexGen knows just how common it is for nets to rot when not stored properly, and our cheap ventilated carry bags will transport and store damp/wet nets correctly.
